How to become a member

Shuttlebugs welcomes players of all backgrounds and experience levels.

To become a member, simply turn up to any of the general play sessions and ask for a committee member.

You will be provided with appropriate forms to fill out, acceptance of these forms does not imply that the application for membership will be approved. The Club Committee will review your application and advise you in due course.

Cost of membership

There is one off sign on fee of $15 (provided you maintain a continuous membership history thereafter), following which you will have to pay the annual fee below:

  • $35 for general membership (only $30 if more than one immediate family member joins); and
  • $20 for juniors (u17 at the time of joining) (only $15 if more than one immediate family member joins)
Note: Immediate family is taken to be parents and their children, and siblings (brothers and sisters) only.

For Casuals *** Updated ***

Although we do allow casuals to play at our general play sessions (currently only for our Friday and Sunday sessions only), casuals are required to contact David Teng ( dteng@wacokwikform.com.au ) for Friday and James Ong ( ong668aus@yahoo.com ) for Sunday to check for availability of casual places. If a casual visitor does not do so, we reserve the right to turn them away.
